The Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation’s 13th Annual Save Our Lake & Coast Golf Classic will be held on Monday, March 9, 2009 at Chateau Golf and Country Club in Kenner. Tournament Co-Chairs, Michelle Hudson, Jack Jensen, Jr. and Danny McMyne would like to invite the community to join them for a great day of golf and at the same time help raise funds for restoration programs and projects for the Pontchartrain Basin. Entry Fee is $125.00 and sponsorships range from $250 - $2,000. The entry fee includes green fees, lunch provided by Mr. Ed’s Restaurant, a golf gift, an awards party, and a one-year membership to the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation. Registration begins at 10:30 AM with a scramble format, shotgun start at 11:30 AM. The awards party will begin about 4:00 PM and will include an awesome dinner sponsored by Chateau Coffee Café, Chops Bistro & Martini Bar & Dockside Seafood & Oyster Bar, door prizes and a lot of fun.
