Transportation Management Services (TMS) would like to recognize several members of your staff who went above and beyond the call of duty during our recent stay in New Orleans. Not only did they provide TMS with a large room block and short notice, they accommodated our staff during a difficult time for the city with the hospitality and warmth associated with the South.
TMS had over 200 buses in Louisiana assisting with the evacuation and recovery of Huricane Gustav with serveral of our bus drivers working over 24 hours a day while sleeping on their bus when they could. When we were able to localize our drivers and have them on alert for Hurricane Ike, we needed close to 100 rooms in New Olrena starting 9/7/08. With very little notice, Ms. Smith, Mr. DeJean and Mr. Truxillo found TMS the rooms we needed at your Holiday Inn Express property and gave us an amazing group rate with flexible payment options (as it was over the weekend) while still accommodating the needs of the other guests utilizing the hotel.
We appreciate the high level of customer service shown by your staff in working together to provide comfortable beds and warm showers for the support staff returning residents to New Orleans during post-Gustav operation.
